Kněžské, Tramín sur-lie, late harvest, dry, 2020

337  Incl. VAT

Grapes from the Kněžská vineyard in the wine-growing village of Mikulčice with a reduced harvest. The wine was fermented and aged for 11 months on all yeasts without the addition of sulphur in Seguin Moreau Caucas barriques made of Krasnodar oak and Francois Freres M barrels made of French oak with completed malolactic fermentation with pure bacterial cultures. The wine is greenish to golden yellow in colour with a faint pink tinge, spicy and honeyed aromas, with notes of tea rose, spices, raisins, violets, cinnamon and marzipan. A full-bodied, extractive, fresh, dry wine with zero residual sugar, yet with a sweet aftertaste from the autolysis of yeasts, with a pleasant and harmonious acidity and a fine minerality.

Recommendation:

For smoked fish, vegetable pies, appetizers and pates. Excellent with spicy dishes.
